Lufthansa Airlines is the largest German airline and one of the largest airlines in Europe. It was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Cologne, Germany. Lufthansa operates a fleet of over 280 aircraft and serves over 220 destinations in more than 80 countries worldwide.

Lufthansa is a founding member of the Star Alliance, a global airline alliance that includes other major airlines such as United Airlines, Air Canada, and Singapore Airlines. This alliance allows Lufthansa to offer a vast network of flights and services to its customers around the world.
